- How do we want to do meetings this year?
- Spiritwear Update
- New designs
- Hawk shirts distributed by Sept. 17 for assembly
- Best way to sell shirts (bulk vs. printify)?
- Factors to consider are a price difference, sorting
- Can we do a trial run?
- Try to do both for this initial run through using Greg and Printify to assess the quality/process of Printify
- Add QR code to Kindergarten Thank You Note
- There are extra original MH Hawk shirts but these are not for sale, these are for new incoming students that may be transferring in; we should have these originals available to order as well for older kids that may have grown out
- Events Updates
- How did having the table at MUMS go?
- Not really run/done well, kind of chaotic
- We should set up a table at Back-to-School night
- Put out the hats, patches & stickers, and any other items from the old vendor for sale
- Set up our table outside on the blacktop if it’s nice, and use the lobby as a back up. There was an idea to also have glowsticks or something else to draw people in
- How did having the table at MUMS go?
- Need to decide on who will be there to help set up and who will run the table (Sheena can do set up at 5:40, then Meghan and Maureen can staff it); we’ll need a cash box, Sarah will get the graphics ready and Meghan can post some advertising on IG
- Staff brunch on 9/12
- Alicia and Casey can come help Maureen with set up
- She doesn’t think she needs anything else to prep
- Need forks and napkins
- Sheena can bring some flowers (though Maureen does already have a couple bouquets)
- Ideas about RAT/Bookfair dates (12/8-12/12)
- Try to hold it on a Friday through the weekend so it can be set up in the gym (because there’s no conference room)?
- Store the books in the closet?
- Potential for online book fair only? Send home a catalog in November and ask the teachers not to send one out for their classrooms
- Lianne will ask Hannah for book fair contact info
- Need to really think about RAT
- Get a committee if we want to do it the same way again
- Otherwise we’ll need to really scale it back
- Put this as a big priority item on next executive agenda
- New events: CPR/First Aid
- Host for community for free (participants would get a K-12 card for $5, but also a suggested donation)
- Would need supplies: Gloves and gauze
- This would replace Cookies & Canvas
- March or April event
- Returning events: Family Skate
- Meghan has been trying to contact the person to arrange it, but difficult to get a response
- Alicia is going to try to reach out too
- Potential dates are November 9th or 16th
- Would need volunteers to do this
- UVM hockey tickets fundraiser
- Meghan will connect to set this up
- Ask about doing this for basketball too
- Literacy Night
- Julie generally plans this (she should apply for some grants to help pay for some food)
- Math Inquiry Night
- No Benefit Bake this year because we couldn’t get a date
- The next date is March 10, 2027
- Basketball Concessions
- Casey will plan on helping with this again
